One Sleep To Go!

We met at the church tonight to pack the trailer, eat some pizza, share a few Bible verses and pray.  Jeff baked some bannock for the way and Pastor Bob prayed for everyone by the trailer!  Thank you, Messiah Lutheran Church, for your love of Jesus and for your love for the people of Southend.  Our team understands that you are going with us because this is your mission, too, and we are grateful!  We are looking forward to seeing old friends again and meeting new ones and for every opportunity to share our Jesus and the hope we all have because of Him!  Thank you for your love, support and prayers!

Pastor Matt and Brian...it will all fit somehow.

We leave at 6:00 a.m. tomorrow and will spend the night in Estevan with the Piper Family!  They have taken care of our team for seven years now and we’ve experienced the blessing of seeing their children grow!  We’ll arrive in Prince Albert on Sunday to have dinner with friends at Redeemer Lutheran Church.  They, also, have taken care of our team for seven years!  We plan to arrive in Southend on Monday afternoon, Lord willing! 

Here is the verse that Beth shared tonight:  “Oh give thanks to the LORD; call upon His name; make known His deeds among the peoples.”  (1 Chronicles 16:8).

We loved how Pastor Vic brought his flag because it is Canada Day today!  And we're off to Canada tomorrow, eh?
